Carol Ganick

 

Carol Ganick, is an abstract artist who comes from a background in traditional watercolor. She is the first place award winner of the 1998 Connecticut Watercolor Society Annual Open Juried Show, (juror-Carlton Plumber, AWS) for her work "Enter Blue" and has won various awards throughout Connecticut. Active in many arts organizations in the Greater Hartford Area, she currently teaches painting at the West Hartford Art League. Her work has been reviewed by Steve Starger in the Manchester Journal Inquirer, Patricia Rosoff in Art New England magazine and ViewZone an on-line Connecticut Magazine included a full length article on the artist in the April, 1998 issue. Ganick has exhibited at the New Britain Museum of American Art, the University of Hartford Art School, the Slater Museum in Norwich, the University of Connecticut, Artworks Gallery, Canton Gallery on the Green and in other galleries. Her most recent one person show was at Ellen Traut Collection in Hartford.

Her studio is located at the Farmington Valley Arts Center in Avon, Studio 9B, second floor, 27 Arts Center Lane. Visitors are always welcome at her studio.
